Can you buy crypto (Bitcoin) with Banco de Chile?
Unfortunately, it is not possible to buy crypto with your bank account at Banco de Chile. However, you can link your bank account to a crypto exchange and buy Bitcoin & other crypto that way. In this article, I explain how to buy crypto with your account at Banco de Chile.
How to buy crypto at Banco de Chile?
Step 1: register with a crypto exchange
A crypto exchange allows you to buy crypto using your bank account. When selecting a crypto exchange, it is important to pay attention to its reliability, costs and range, among other things. Personally, I am a fan of the following crypto exchanges:

Step 2: deposit money from Banco de Chile
The next step is to deposit money from your Banco de Chile account to the crypto exchange. Bear in mind that it can take several working days for the money to appear in your account. Before you can deposit money, you often need to verify your account first: you do this by uploading a copy of your passport and proof of address.
Step 3: buy crypto with Banco de Chile
On the platform, you can then select the crypto you want to buy. Most investors choose Bitcoin, but of course you can also invest in lesser-known cryptocurrencies.
Within the order screen, you then enter the amount you want to invest. You can buy crypto at crypto exchanges even with little money. Then press the buy button to send the order directly to the crypto exchange.
